The reason to avoid marriage isn't just to avoid divorce and child-support.
Most married men live miserable lives where they work their asses off to support wifey and kids and year-after-year the relationship gets worse and eventually reaches a point where the kids are thankless brats and obese wifey is mean, bitch, and insulting and openly expresses her contempt for miserable hubby... while he has resorted to internet porn as the only thing satisfying in his life.
Rather than that misery, he could have chosen to be a bachelor and lived his life for himself.
Having a girlfriend when he wanted, or not.

Australia has been awash with anti-father propaganda over the last fortnight, with the Child Support Agency claiming that fathers owe one billion dollars in unpaid debt.
They managed to get to their magical one billion dollar figure by counting in the tens upon tens of thousands of fathers who have died since the scheme began in 1988.
Many of those dads died in dismal circumstances, or suicided, literally hunted to their graves by a virulent ideologically driven hate-filled bureaucracy; pretending to be acting in the best interests of children while driving fathers to their graves.
Not only have they ignored repeated requests to reveal their exact death toll, believed to be running at around five thousand a year, now they're counting the alleged debts of the dead for propaganda purposes.
It doesn't get any lower than that.
The moral bankruptcy of the Rudd government, prepared to engage in this conduct, has been laid bare for all to see. Their faked concern for "working families" clearly doesn't concern the dads driven to an early death by the despised Child Support Agency.
If Australian social policy was a person, this week it would have been declared insane and locked up.
The sickest of all ironies, turning tragedy into farce, was that last week, while perpetuating their savage financial abuse against fathers and perpetuating their claims that fathers owe inflated amounts of child support, the Victorian government moved to include financial abuse into domestic violence.
The ever expanding definition of domestic violence, driven by empire building demagogues, has meant that as they spend hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars of tax payers dollars on their schemes, the alleged problems only get worse, justifying in turn yet more tax payer dollars down the sink of extremist causes. Now if you don't buy her that couch she wants, in 2008 when she should have been working to support herself anyway, you can face charges!
This is communist style intervention in people's private lives of the very worst kind. It is anti-father and anti-male propaganda of the very worst kind. It is left-wing lunacy of the very worst kind. Sadly, it has been dressed in social justice rhetoric which many in the media and the broader public accept unquestioningly. Sadly, our politicians are to gormless to fight this rubbish.

"Men who financially abuse their partners will be subject to intervention orders under new legislation that aims to dramatically expand the reach of family violence laws in Victoria.
"Under the laws, to be unveiled today, behaviour that denies a partner financial independence or cuts off living expenses for them or their children would be considered grounds to seek an intervention order. "The legislation would make it easier for victims of family violence to remain in their home with their children, while perpetrators may be forced to leave.
"The proposed laws were welcomed by legal experts and family violence support groups who said that "economic abuse" could be as damaging as physical abuse.
"Financial abuse alone would be grounds to apply for an intervention order, but domestic violence experts said it was likely to be part of wider pattern of abusive behaviour. The legislation defines "economic abuse" as behaviour that is coercive, deceptive and controls another person without their consent in a way that denies them financial independence."
The left have succeeded in their mission of portraying heterosexual relationships as dangerous and abusive places.
They have lied and lied and lied until they got their own way. Unfortunately, it is our children who will reap the whirlwind from this ideological insanity.
This week we speak with four fathers from different parts of the world who are all disillusioned after having been badly done over by the international family law industry. We will discover their journey of despair and their subsequent decision to find a way to fight back against the evil processes that removed their children from their love and care.

For some tens of thousands of fathers, in this Canadian province alone, "Father's Day" is an especially bitter occasion. These are the men separated from their children by court order, many never to see them again. Each knows that his children have been subjected to vicious propaganda against him, that in many cases a child's own mother -- a woman the father once trusted enough to marry -- has turned the child's heart against him. (I know of many cases.) It could be worse: for the father may have been replaced in his own household by a new man, or even a new woman. Someone who will never care for his children as he did, however badly he may have expressed it; who will at least be lacking the biological compulsion to look out for one's own flesh and blood.
In a further twist, whether or not mom has found a new squeeze, the ostracized dad may be making court-ordered spousal support payments sufficiently onerous to put him on a cot in some closet -- hounded by process servers, and under the threat of jail if his payments fall behind. (I know this experience at first hand.)
There is no cure for it. The legal papers make clear -- go to lengths to make clear -- that he will be hounded until the day he dies. Male suicide rates, not only in this province but across North America, are at their highest level since the depth of the Depression in the 1930s. They are four times higher than the female suicide rate, and while no government has the guts to gather statistics on this, it is an easy guess that family court disasters lie behind a large proportion of them.
The legacy of feminism has been to make us acutely aware of women's sensibilities, no matter how frivolous; and obtusely indifferent to men's, no matter how grave. Men are consistently demonized in the feminist propaganda, women consistently presented as victims, in defiance of the facts of human nature, which show the capacity for evil to be well-distributed. Under the pressure of feminist lobbying, our entire family law system has been skewed so that the man almost invariably pays, the woman almost invariably collects, regardless of the circumstances. Only in the most extraordinary cases is the man granted custody of the children, or even equal access.

Dear Prime Minister,
I would be delighted if you would please consider the following carefully, in the interest of the many thousands of dispossessed parents and children of Australia.
Sooner or later the tide is going to turn. It took many years for us to recognize the injustices perpetrated against our Indigenous populations, Slavery, Apartheid, Civil Rights etc, etc.
These injustices were ignored for many decades due to community ignorance. Unfortunately we are repeating the same injustices under another name on our own people, due to the same ignorance.
Saying SORRY to one deserving dispossessed group, while at the same time completely ignoring the dispossession taking place right under our noses, smacks of hypocrisy and ignorance.
I fully applaud your part in bringing about a long overdue apology to the stolen generation and the Indigenous population. The fact that it took 200 years for us to realise the damage we inflicted on this vulnerable group and denied them their fundamental human rights for so long, is an indictment of our level of compassion and empathy.
Unfortunately during the 200 years of community ignorance, the voices of reason were ridiculed and brushed aside.
I plead with you to please take a look at what is happening today with compassion and empathy.
It is estimated that the stolen generation numbered approximately 50,000 children. We now know the horrendous ramification of this "Best Interest of the Children" policy debacle, ironically administered by someone with the offensive sickening title of "PROTECTOR OF ABORIGINES"
Sadly the figure of 50,000 children representing the Stolen Generation, pales into insignificance when compared with the current figures of forcible separation of children from their parents.
The latest ABS figures show that:
1. There are now almost 700,000 Australian children who no longer have any meaningful contact with their biological non custodial parents.
2. There are now 312,000 biological non custodial parents who no longer have any meaningful contact with their children.
These figures do not include the extended biological family members such as grandparents, uncles, aunties, cousins, etc, who are estimated to add a further 1.5 million people, who are also denied their ties of kinship with their much loved members of their families.
This is an estimated total of 2.6 million of the nations citizens now reduced to a "GENERATION OF THE DAMNED". This human horror, is administered by the current so called protector of the Best Interest of the Children, THE FAMILY COURT OF AUSTRALIA.
Contrary to what is promoted by those who wish to continue with the current failed policies, no scientific evidence has ever been produced anywhere, to show that large numbers of non custodial parents are voluntarily abandoning their children. While individual examples can always be found of any reprehensible behaviour, these should never be allowed to be promoted as representing the behaviour of the majority group.
The voices of reason, who are endeavouring to bring these gross violations of human rights to the attention of the community, are again ridiculed and brushed aside.
It comes as no surprise that so many children are neglected and abused in our community. It occurs because checks and balances have been removed by allowing the forced removal of hundreds of thousands of loving parents from their children.
We also talk with Craig Clark from Australia, yet another father to have been tragically screwed by the system.
And from America, we are delighted to have back on for the second time, the very courageous Eric Burch, a musician and U.S soldier being re-deployed back to Iraq. Just like Australian soldiers, many American soldiers return home to find they have lost their children, and child support debts engineered by snivelling bureaucratic creeps have begun to mount while they've been out fighting for their country, putting their lives on the line. Just as there are many ex-policemen in the fatherhood movement who are particularly outraged at the way their country has betrayed them after giving a lifetime of service, so too soldiers too-often find the country they were prepared to die for turns around and treats them like dirt.
It's a very sick world in which we find ourselves.

Man gets 40 years in deaths of woman, her unborn baby. He pleads guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in 2004 case; Woman was due to give birth any day, authorities said.
A 21-year-old man was sentenced to 40 years in prison after he pleaded guilty on Monday to fatally shooting a pregnant woman five times on Plus Park Boulevard in 2004. Antonio Diaz, who was 17 at the time, was charged with killing Tracy Owen, 32, and her unborn child at 4 a.m. Jan. 5. She was due to give birth any day, authorities said at the time.
Diaz was scheduled to go to trial but opted to enter a guilty plea on two counts of second-degree - reduced from first-degree - murder in Davidson County Criminal Court. Judge Monte Watkins accepted the plea. A third charge of felony murder was dropped. He was given two 40-year concurrent sentences. Because Diaz was a juvenile when the crime occurred, the death penalty was not an option. Diaz was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by then 22-year-old Eliseo Quintero, who was already convicted of two counts of criminally negligent homicide in 2005.
The men mistakenly believed that they hit Owen with their truck, police have said. Investigators believe Owen may have stumbled and fallen. Diaz allegedly shot her as she lay in a vacant lot. Diaz wanted expert testimony admitted that would have allowed him to use the diminished capacity defense, which means that although he was not insane, other factors such as emotional and physical distress, made him unable to comprehend the nature of the criminal act.
The Court of Criminal Appeals ruled that the expert testimony was inadmissible.
A psychiatrist testified in 2005 that Diaz's mother was a prostitute, that relatives abused him as a child and that he suffered post-traumatic stress disorder. Diaz had told the doctor that he had used cocaine and drank nearly a dozen beers, according to court records. Senior Assistant District Attorney Roger Moore said the plea bargain offer had been on the table for two years and it was a last-minute decision on the
defendant's part. "We had, sort of, our line in the sand and we were prepared to go trial," Moore said
